How to change file associations in Windows 10 and 11

Though Bandizip and Honeyview provide on their own a feature changing the file associations in Windows 10 and 11, sometimes you may find that archive files (or image files) are opened not by Bandizip (or Honeyview) but by other programs even after you use the change feature.



For troubleshooting, you may manually change the file associations as shown below.




  1. Right-click a file and select Open with > Choose another app.


  2. Select Bandizip or Honeyview and check "Always use this app to open .(extension) files" and then click OK.
